Basically, I will try to categorize and then compare different Shopping Carts.
There are several programming languages and Shopping Cart frameworks available.
However, the following analysis will consider only Carts developed with ASP (Active Server Pages)
due to the popularity of this language designed for Microsoft Internet Information Servers.
How did I go about this analysis?
1. I searched the most popular ASP Carts
2. I read the documentation
3. I tried to install the software (in the cases where that was possible)
4. I asked the authors for technical assistance
5. I made a comparison using all available information
